About our Farm

 On this website you can order Organic Potted Plants fresh from our Farm.
We are located in East-Clare on the hills of the Slieve Aughty Mountains between Tulla and Feakle.
At Glendree Organic Farm, we raise cows, goats, horses, sheep, chickens, ducks and bees, and we grow vegetables and herbs for ourselves and for sale. We also produce seed for the Irish Seed Savers Association. Self-sufficiency and sustainability is our motto. This has helped us to become part of the Farming for Nature Ambassadors since 2021. Located in the Hen Harrier SPA, we are certified organic by Organic Trust.

This website aims to share some information about our farm and facilitate potted plant orders for our local community. Please remember that orders are for pickup only and payment is cash only.

We offer a seasonally available selection of Potted Plants, fresh from our nursery, which you can order on this website, to pick up from our farm.

Shop is open for Orders between:

Sunday 3pm - Friday 10pm

Pick up Only! Orders will be ready on Saturday afternoon.
Pickup is from the farm, whenever suits, during daylight hours.
Payment is cash-only

How to order
  1. Choose which potted plants you need. You can order plants individually.

  2. Potted plants can be selected by "piece". Example: Select your amount and press "Add to Box".

  3. You can still add more items from our vegetable selection after you select plants. To reset all selected items, refresh the page.

  4. When you are happy with your order you can check out by entering your name and your phone number. You may also enter a random number instead of your phone number. In that case we would not be able to update you regarding your order. We only use your provided information to contact you about your order.

  5. Finally you can press on "Order Box" which will confirm the order. Remember the price so you can pay for your order in cash when you pick it up from our farm.

  6. A message will be sent out to the number provided when the boxes are ready to be picked up. Pick up your items directly from our farm. We recommend to pick them up as soon as possible to ensure the best quality.

    7. All orders must be made before noon on Saturday for the once-weekly pickup on Saturday afternoon.

Our Potted Plant Selection

What does Pre-Ordering mean?

After ordering you will receive a text to confirm your order. We can then chat about the ideal date for you to receive the potted plants.

Availability by Plant Type:

  • Tomato, Pepper and Cucumber plants will be available from April to May
  • Pumpkin and Squash will be available in late May to June
  • Courgette plants will be available from March to July

You only pay when you pick up your plants.
